LANCE ARMSTRONG, a famous world-class cyclist, was diagnosed last 1996 with an aggressive type of testicular tumor that is common among men between the ages of 15 to 35.
The cancer spread to his brain. Treatment required him to undergo surgeries to remove his cancerous testicle and cancerous lesions in the brain as well. He is one of the well-known survivors of the disease.
